Specialist in the conservation of paintings and in the techniques and materials used by painters.
The main focus of her work relates to pre-20th century easel paintings:
- Condition assessment: Determination of the state of conservation of a work
- Evaluation of the compositional or environmental issues affecting a work
- Interpretation of scientific photographs and radiographs
- Analysis of materials used in painting, binders, pigments, varnishes, restoration materials
- Scientific assistance during the restoration process
- Study of restoration materials and their usage
Other activities
Supervision and coordination of interns (scientists and restorers)
Lecturer at the Institut National du Patrimoine (Restoration Department)
Climate analysis and monitoring in museums
